Nancy Elizabeth Whited, 102, of Charleston, died Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Hubbard Hospice House after a long illness.
She was born at Zona. She was a homemaker and member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Charleston.
She is survived by three sons, Ira Bevan Whited, Charleston, Burton Whited of London, Ky., and Brell Whited of Mount Dora, Fla.; four daughters, Bethel Spradling and Berhidine Easter, both of Charleston, Berneda Vance of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Sharon Bess of Poca; one sister, Rushie Jones of Grafton, Ohio; and 28 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and 37 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amet Whited; seven sisters; three brothers; and one grandson and one great-grandson.
Service was Tuesday, March 22, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. David E. Mitchell and Rev. Benny Bess officiating. Burial was in Parsons Cemetery, Gay.
