  Notes	Armor Eugene Casto Armor Eugene Casto, 84, of Ripley passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008, in Jackson General Hospital. He was born Oct. 14, 1923, in Given and was the son of the late Lionel and Williard Sayre Casto. He was a carpenter and maintenance worker at Kaiser Aluminum, from which he retired. He was a member of Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church and enjoyed farming and working with cattle. He is survived by his wife, Dortha Casto; sons, M. Eugene (Sonnie) Casto of Fairplain, Roger “Randy” (Carolyn) Casto of Mount Airy, N.C., and Brent (Teresa) Casto of Troutman, N.C.; grandchildren, Allen Casto, Beth Brown, Amber Pouncey, Alisha Casto, Adam Casto and Sarah Casto; and great-grandchildren, Dakota Casto, Landon Casto, Elizabeth King, Brooke King and Johah Brown. Service will be 3 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Shannon Skeens officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Memory Gardens, Cottageville. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Parsons-Waybright and Vail funeral homes are serving the family.
