"The Hughes Family" states that she married Samuel Bonnett, who was said to have been a Revolutionary War soldier, brother of Jacob & Lewis (twins), Peter & John, all of whom were said to have been in the Revolution. John was killed by Indians and hidden in a cave on the Kanawha in 1783. Children of Martha and Samuel: Henry, Elias, Susan, daughter, Lewis who m. Margaret Means.
