He was a retired West Virginia road employee.
Surviving: son, Clair, of Ravenswood; daughter, Mrs Edith Bowman of Leonardtown, Md.; brothers, Leon of Point Pleasant, Lovell of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Mrs Mary Fox of Evans, Mrs Mamie Hambrick of Dunbar.
Service was Sunday in Vail Funeral HOme, Ripley, Burial was in Creston Cemetery.
