James Eugene Fultz, 71, of Cottageville, WV, departed this life July 12, 2005 in Cabell Hunting Hospital, following a brief illness.
He was born December 9, 1933 in Cottageville, a son of Charles Ellsworth Fultz, of Cottageville, and the late Bessie Mae (Parsons) Fultz.
He was a farmer, a protestant, and enjoyed gardening.
In addition to his father, other survivors include brothers, Joe Fultz and Grover Fultz both of Cottageville, Raymond Fultz of Point Pleasant, Harry Lee Fultz of Evans, and Bobby Fultz of New Philadelphia, OH; sister, Lillie Marie Dillon of Wooster, OH; lifelong companion, Eleanor Jordan; 4 step-grandchildren; 1 step- great-granddaughter 14 nieces and nephews.
Service were at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with the Rev. Herman Jordan officiating. Burial followed in the Cherry Grove Cemetery, Cottageville. Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
