L. HINZMAN, and burial was in the church cemetery, with Lawrence M. FORD, Crow Summit funeral director in charge of arrangements. She died Monday afternoon at four o'clock at the home of her son, Lee HINZMAN, at Meadowdale, after an illness of several weeks and death had been expected. She was 72 years old. Mrs. HINZMAN was born in Jackson County, daughter of the late George and Cecelia Ann CALMER. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Odaville. She was the mother of ten children, seven of whom survive. They are: Lee, Milford and Clifford HINZMAN, all of Meadowdale; Mrs. Alice WILSON, of Pennsylvania; Mrs. Albert CARMICHAEL, of Sherman; Mrs. Myrtle HURD and Mrs. Elsie RIGGS, of Sandyville. She also leaves several grandchildren, among them James HINZMAN, in the U. S. Army at Fort Knox, Kentucky, four sisters and four brothers. (Jackson Herald, Fri., 19 Feb 1943)
