Mamie Lowe, 98 of Spencer, WV died Dec. 23, 2004 at the Roane General
Hospital, Spencer. She was born Aug. 21, 1906 at Walton, WV., a daughter of
the late Hezekiah and Ellen Hively Moore. She was a homemaker and formerly
worked at Kelly's Ax Factory in Charleston and We Care Nursing in Columbus,
OH, as an aide and cook. She enjoyed quilting and farming.
She is survived by three daughters, Faye Dusenberry and her husband, Paul of
Thornville, OH, Lucille Gaye Pickerell and her husband, Wilbur, of Micco, FL, and Doris Murray of Columbus, Ohio ; three sons, Roy Lowe, Jr and his wife Bobbie, and Eddie Lowe Sr. and his wife, Jeannie all of Ashville, Ohio, and Freddie Lowe and his wife, Marsha, of Mount Sterling, Ohio; two sisters, Emma Jackson and Edna Taylor, both of Walton; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Roy Lowe Sr.; one daughter, Wilma
Nunnamaker; and several brothers and sisters.
Service will be 11 a. m. Tuesday, Dex. 28, 2004 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Jarvis Cemetery near Walton.
