Edna Irene Taylor, 85, of Walton died Feb. 21, 2007, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson.
She was born April 4, 1921, in Walton and was a daughter of the late Hezekiah and Nancy Ellen Hively Moore.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Sue Barney of Shepherdstown; a son, Arnold ?Buck? Taylor of Kenna; a special ?daughter,? Carolyn Burdette of Cross Lanes; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Dare Taylor; a son, Murray Frank Taylor; three brothers, Bo, Lloyd and Jim; and five sisters, Becky, Mamie, Myrtle, Emma and Mabel.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with Dr. Bill Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Droddy/Canterbury Cemetery, Walton.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
