Surviving: husband, Orda; sons, Howard L. of Walton, Harold of Elkview; daughters, Roberta Faye Spencer and Loretta May Ramey, both of Canton, Ohio, Ilene Hunt of Elkview, Lula Bell Moffatt of Romance, Hazel Dean Huffman and Jeanette Marie Foreman of Walton, Carolyn Pauline Hayns of Waxhaw, N.C., Charlotte Lynnn Metz of Kimbolton, Ohio; sisters, Sylvia Lanham and Ida Fields of Dunbar, Irene Ferrell of Spencer and Opal Moore of Walton; 38 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren. Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Knight-Young-Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with the Rev. Pete Jones officiating. Burial was in the Mount Moriah Cemetery, Ambler Ridge.
