Maysel Ann Rhodes
Maysel Ann Rhodes, 64, of Spencer died Friday, Oct. 21, 2005 at Roane General Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was born in Clay County, a daughter of the late Harley J. and Ida May West Ferrebee. She was a custodian at Roane County High School.
She is survived by four daughters, Melinda Bennett of Virginia, Rita Jean Rhodes of Norwood, N.C., and Connie Sue Helmick and Bonnie Lou Rhodes, both of Spencer; four sons, Russell Wayne Rhodes, Roger Dean Rhodes and Mark Delaine Rhodes, all of Spencer, and Tony "Toby" Rhodes of Reedy; two sisters, Mary Richards of Sandyville and M.P. "Toots" Bullard of Spencer; five brothers, Isaac "Doc" Ferrebee of Valley Fork, A.P. "Cowboy" Ferrebee of Ripley, A.D. "Bud" Ferrebee of Georgia, and Robert and C.W. "Jug" Ferrebee, both of Spencer; and 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her lifetime mate, Wayne Rhodes; three brothers, Everett, Hubert and A.B. "Buck" Ferrebee; and one granddaughter.
Service was Tuesday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Whited and Bill Walton officiating. Per her request, her body was to be cremated with her ashes buried in Fairview Cemetery, Reedy.
