Lloyd Douglas Whited (1999)
Lloyd Douglas "Doug" Whited, 57, of Wilimington, Ill., died Monday, March 1, 1999 at his home.
He was born in Walton, and was a graduate of Walton High School. He attended West Virginia Institute of Technology, Montgomery, and was in the Navy, having served three tours in Vietnam. He was formerly employed at Quantum Chemical for 23 years. He as a member of American Legion Post # 294, Morris and the VFW in Dwight. He was a Christian.
He is survived by his wife, Judith J. McDonal Whited; three sons, Jeffrey L. Wills and Kevin L Wills, both of Coal City, Ill., and Bryan L. Wills of Jacksonville, Fla.; one granddaughter, his mother, Mary Rhodes Whited of Lake City, Fla; and brother Isaac "Chuck" Whited, two nephews, all of Jacksonville; and special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Isaac Whited.
Services were March 4 at Grant-Tapella-Freitag Westwood Memorial Chapel. Interment with military rites took place in Woodlawn MemorialPark.
