Sallie Miller (12-23-41)
Sallie West Miller, 60, wife of Charles W. Miller, died Dec 14 at the family home in Spencer after an illness of ten months.
She was a daughter of the late George W. West, noted singer and founder of the Roane County Singer's Institute. The daughter Mrs Miller, was also a singer.
Surviving are her husband, two brothers, Dr. J. B. West of Grafton and Charley A. West of Akron; fours sisters, Mrs.Orton Rhodes of Bedford, O., Mrs. Estella Greathouse of Ambridge, Pa, Mrs Omala Greathouse and Mrs. Dona Steele both of Spencer.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the Baptist Church.
