  Notes	JCBR: Samuel O Rhodes, 8/1867, Archy & D Rhodes Samuel O. RHODES Funeral services were held at the Falling Water church at Belgrove at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon for Samuel O. RHODES, 73 year old farmer of that community who died on Tuesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ordie WEST, of near Charleston. He had been in ill health for a long time and death was expected. The service was directed by Rev. Hobson D. FISHER and Rev. P. D. FISHER. The body remained at the home of the daughter until time for the funeral. In addition to the daughter at whose home he died, the deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Roxie M. (PARSONS) RHODES; two other daughters, Mrs. Esta PARSONS and Mrs. Lucy REID of Montreal, Canada; five sons, Earnie RHODES of Charleston, William RHODES of Kenna, Claire RHODES of Chandlers Branch, and Clayton and Dayton RHODES of Tyler Mountain; a sister, Mrs. Martha WILLIAMS of Gay; four brothers, Okey and Everette RHODES of Ripley, Holly RHODES of Gay, and Ervin RHODES of Ohio, 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
