  Notes	Jessie H. Hersman, 70, of Gandeeville, died Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Roane General Hospital. He was born at Vicars, a son of the late Jacob Floyd and Dolly Jane Cobb Hersman. He was a retired construction worker, a member of the United Steel Workers Union and a Baptist. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patsy J. Payne Hersman; two daughters, Terry Milam of Ripley and Theda Nida of Spencer; one son, Jeffrey Hersman of Gandeeville; one brother, Rudie Hersman of Louisville, Ohio; five sisters, Tressie Jones and Berdiehl Smith, both of Harmony, Ruby Petrackis of Ambler Ridge, Gertrude Rhodes of Advent and Hazel Collins of Reedy; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Brooks, Roy, Donald, Troy, James “Ab”, and Oval Hersman; two sisters, Elva Fields and Wanda Hersman. Service was Monday at John H. Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Jones and Rev. Ernest Cox officiating. Burial was in Gandeeville Cemetery.
