  Notes	Ripley - Reva Taylor 85 of Ripley, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2008 at CAMC General Division, following an extended illness. She was born November 16 1922 in Roane County, a daughter of the late Holly and Thelma Jones Huffman. She was a member of the Primitive Advent Church and a homemaker her entire life. She enjoyed quilting, canning and crocheting. Survivors include her daughters Doris Harris of Ripley, Kay Hackney of Kenna, Sara Shamblin of Advent, Judy Casto of Gay and Debbie Richardson of California; sons John of Charleston and Eddie and Steve both of Sandyville WV; a grandson whom she raised, David Taylor; sisters May Cummings and Alma Wazelle both of Walton, Freda Jones of Elkview and Audrey Weise of Charleston; half sisters Linda Epling of OH, Diana Hinkle of TN, and Sandy Meredith of Walton; half brothers Robert, Ed and Allen Huffman all of Walton and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Sam Taylor, brother Leroy Huffman and half brothers John and Bill Huffman. Services will be held today Thursday January 31, 2008 at 11:00 am at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating, Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, in Pocatalico, WV. She is survived by five daughters, Doris Harris of Ripley, Kay Hackney of Kenna, Sara Shamblin of Advent, Judy Casto of Gay and Debbie Richardson of California; three sons, John of Charleston, and Eddie and Steve, both of Sandyville; one grandson raised as a son, David; four sisters, May Cummings and Alma Wazelle, both of Walton, Freda Jones of Elkview and Audrey Weise of Charleston; three half-sisters, Linda Epling of Ohio, Diana Hinkle of Tennessee and Sandy Meredith of Walton; three half-brothers, Rober, Ed and Allen, all of Walton; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Taylor; one brother, Leroy Taylor; and two half-brothers, John and Bill Huffman. Service is 11 a.m. today (Thursday) at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Pocatalico
