RIPLEY - Edna Marie Casto, 86, of Ripley died Sept. 21, 1999, in Sun Bridge Nursing Home, Dunbar, after a long illness.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Olive Methodist Church.
Surviving: brothers, J.A. "Dale" Casto of South Charleston, Arthur B. Casto of Point Pleasant, Bernard L. Casto of Evans; sister, M. Ardella Casto of Cross Lanes; several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Charles Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Rock Castle. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Mount Olive Cemetery Fund, c/o Marshall Casto, 2278 Rockcastle Road, Rock Castle, WV 25245.

The four sons of Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Casto, of Rockcastle, are in uniform. Cpl. Milford Casto, an aviator radar operator with the Marines, is the husband of the former Marie Kessel, who with a small daughter, is with her parents near Ripley, He is stationed in North Carolina. S/Sgt. Dale C Casto has been in the service more than three years and is in England. Cpl. Arthur Casto is with the Army Air Corps in Texas, and Cpl. Bernard Casto, also with the Army Air Corps, is in Florida. All are graduates of the Ripley High School, except Bernard who was graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School in Charleston.
