Wilbur L. Kuhn
Wilbur L. Kuhn Sr., 81, of Vienna died Wednesday, June 21, 2007, at his residence.
He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Andy and Stella (Williams) Kuhn.
He retired from Mahone Tire Service and was a member of People's Church of Boaz. He was a United States Navy veteran having served in the South Pacific during World War II. His passion was gardening and he enjoyed sharing his produce with others.
He is survived by five sons, Wilbur "Bill" Kuhn Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Vienna, James and Mike Kuhn, both of Summit, W.Va., Ted Kuhn and his wife, Debbie, of Nags Head, N.C., and Mark Kuhn and his wife, Ann, of Lincolnton, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Dulaney Kuhn, four sisters, and three brothers.
Services will 11 a.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Randy Dornon officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery of Belpre with military honors by American Legion Post 15. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
