Obituary:
Denville "Bill" Lupardus
Denville "Bill" Lupardus of Charleston died Feb. 8, 2004, at CAMC General Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born March 18, 1924, son of the late Silas and Esta Raines Lupardus. He was retired from Union Carbide, Sistersville Plant. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by one son, William Gary Lupardus and his wife, Kim, of Athens, Ala.; one daughter, Marcia Gail Burnette and her husband, Smokey of Elkview; two sisters, Norma Moore of Lincoln, Neb., and Maysel Faber of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, April, Amy, Sherry and Cathy Sue; and four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Cory, Alex and Zane.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Lupardus; and a son, Eugene.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004, at the Vail Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
