Dessie Mae Hildreth
SPENCER - Dessie Mae Hildreth, 84, of Spencer died May 6, 1997, at home after a short illness.
She was a waitress at several Spencer area restaurants and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Spencer.
Surviving: son, Bobby Hildreth of Vienna; sisters, Ruth Ferrell of Akron, Ohio, Verba Deweese of Mundy; brother, Lee Webb of Salem, Ohio; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Leon Strickland officiating. Burial will be in Clover Cemetery, near Spencer. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial service will be 8 p.m. today at Stark Funeral Home, Salem, with the Rev. Neil Appell officiating. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until time of service today at the funeral home. Burial will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Clover Church Cemetery, Clover. Friends may call one hour prior to service Tuesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Salem, 2235 E. Pershing St., Salem, OH 44460.
