Charles L. Whited
Charles L. "Chuck" Whited, 53, of Elizabeth, died Sunday at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital following and extended illness.
Whited was had (?) been an employee of All American Trucking in Davisville and American Viscose Corp. of Parkersburg. He was a member of the Junior Order of the United American Mechanics of Palestine.
He was born in Wirt County, son of the late Nelson Ray and Leola Hall Whited.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Garnett Ashby Whited; four sons, Donald L. Whited, Michale Whited, Terry Whited, all of Elizabeth, and Gregory Whited of Ravenswood; two daughters, Teresa Pettry of Madison, Ohio, Sherry Salsbury of East Lake, Ohio; two sisters, Sandra Roberts and Barbara Davis, both of Elizabeth; nine granddaughters.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle of Elizabeth, with the Rev. E. Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Two Runs Cemetery.
Friends may call at Matheny-Pomroy Funeral Home, Elizabeth, all day Tuesday and at the church one hour prior to services Wednesday.
