  Notes	The Charleston Gazette 3/6/2007 Cecil J. Boyce Cecil J. Boyce, 79, of Kenna passed away on March 5, 2007, in Jackson General Hospital following an extended illness. He was the last surviving child of the late William and Ordie Siders Boyce and was predeceased by three brothers, Howard, Dennie and Carles Boyce, and two sisters, Ethel Boyce and Edith Boyce Lanham. He is survived by his wife, Glenis Raines Boyce; two daughters, Shirley (Steve) Hudson and Charlotte (Spence) Wilson; grandchildren, Heather Randolph, Jamie Randolph, Stephanie Mills and Justin Hudson; and great-grandchildren, Thaddeus and Trenton Randolph and Bryce Randolph. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Audra Belle Raines, wife of the late Hobert Raines of Kenna. He was also predeceased by a brother-in-law, Clifford ?Gene? Raines. He is survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law, Paul Raines, Patty Wilson, Carrie Dado, Dorothy Hodges, David Raines, Dannie Raines and Karen Rhodes; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was born May 29, 1927, at Romance and was a lifelong Jackson County resident. He was a construction worker and a farmer and worked for many years a the True Temper Plant in Charleston. He was well known throughout the region as a fur and ginseng buyer. He was an avid gardener, hunter, fisherman and trapper and, for many years, was active in the Jackson County Sportsmen's Association. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Steve Raines officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery, Kentuck. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
