  Notes	Ethel M. Jones, 94, of Spencer, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston. She was born at Walton, a daughter of the late Vinton and Virginia Mae Taylor. She was a homemaker and attended Walton Union Church. She is survived by five daughters, Betty M. Marrs of Belleville, Mary L. Siers of Cross Lanes, Wanda M. Nichols of St. Albans, Mildred L. Lane of Spencer and Marilyn S. Cuppett of Barboursville; three sons, John M. Jones of Middlesex, N.C., and Melvin C. and David M. Jones, both of Walton; 22 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Jones; a daughter, Margie E. West; a grandchild; seven brothers; and three sisters. The body was cremated. A memorial service will take place later. Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
