  Notes	Dormal Coe Rhodes Dormal Spencer Coe Rhodes, 86, of Spencer died Monday, December 8, 2008, in Miletree Center, Spencer, after an extended illness. She was born June 10, 1922, in Chloe, Calhoun County, and was a daughter of the late Elber and Icy Jarvis Spencer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jerold F. Coe in 1978 and Elmer Rhodes in 1996; and two sisters, Justine Harris and Joy Deweese. During World War II, Dormal worked in Akron, Ohio, as one of the “Rosie the Riveters.” She retired from Kellwood Corporation, Spencer, after 35 years of service. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, George and Patty Coe of Leroy; a daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Mark Williams of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; two sisters, Wanda Nutter of Spencer and Dorlene Walker of Ravenswood; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December
