Robert L. Casto
Robert L. Casto, 78, of Vienna died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at the Arbors at Marietta.
He was born March 15, 1929, in Spencer, W.Va., a son of the late Raymond and Ethel Monroe Casto. He graduated from Spencer High School in 1947 and retired from C&P Telephone/Bell Atlantic after more than 38 years service. He served two years with the Army Engineers during the Korean War. He was a life member of Telephone Pioneers of America and a member of St. John?s United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Willadean Camp Casto; son, Craig Casto and his wife, Terrye, of Vienna; daughter, Kathy Ferrell of Vienna; six grandchildren, Chip, Clark and Emily Ferrell and Joni, Bobby and Cary Casto; two stepgrandchildren, Haeli Kaminskas and Heath Lynch; and a brother, Charles Casto and his wife, Beulah, of Willard, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Casto.
Family graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with the Rev. H. Earle Arthur officiating.
Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, is assisting the family with arrangements.
