Linda Lucille Scantlin
Mrs. Linda Lucille Scantlin, 56, of Eleanor, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, surrounded by family at home.
She was the daughter of the late Clenn C. Casto and Gatha E. Casto.
Linda was a homemaker and a faithful, loyal member at the Elizabeth Baptist Church, Bancroft. She spent 46 years of her life in the Putnam County area after leaving Ripley.
She left behind a husband, Glenn of Eleanor; daughter, Michelle Watson and her husband, Kevin, of Winfield; her sons, Greg Scantlin and his wife, Chastity, of Bancroft, Matt Scantlin and his wife, Rachel, of Teays Valley; her loving grandchildren, Neal Scantlin, Zack Scantlin, Lauren Scantlin, Joshua Watson, Andrew Scantlin, Garrett Scantlin, and Nathaniel Watson; sister, Patricia Hudnall of Eleanor; and brother, Kenneth Casto of Mount Sidey, Va., to cherish her memory.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at the Elizabeth Baptist Church, 408 Washington Street, Bancroft, with the Rev. Jeff Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Groove Cemetery, Eleanor.
Friends visited from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Chapman Funeral Home, 3624 Winfield Road, Winfield, WV 25213.
