Thelma M. Jividen
Thelma M. Jividen, 87, of Bee Ridge Road, Buffalo, passed away at home following a short illness.
She retired from Lakeshore Jewelers, Akron, Ohio, with 12½ years of service and was a member of Walker Chapel Bible Church.
Born Dec. 22, 1918, in Putnam County, she was the daughter of the late C.A. and Margie Coon Cobb. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Ova Owens Jividen; daughter and her husband, Eileen and Barry Shahan of Ravenna, Ohio; son and his wife, Darrell and Sigrid Jividen of Mogadore, Ohio; sisters, Zelma Jividen, Rethal Bartley and Genevieve Yates; a brother, Carl Cobb; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at Walker Chapel Bible Church, Robertsburg, with Pastor Larry Woody officiating. Burial will follow in Walker Chapel Cemetery, Robertsburg.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Raynes Funeral Home, Buffalo.

Mr. and Mrs. C. Arley Cobb of Rt 1, Buffalo will celebrate their golden anniversary with a family gathering today at their home. They were married Sept 21, 1913. They are the parents of 10 children, Mrs. Zelma Jividen, of Nitro, Mrs. Francis Casto of Red House, Miss Wilma Cobb of Charlotte, N. C., Mrs Rethal Bartley and Mrs Thelma Jividen of Akron, Oh, Mrs. Genevieve Yates and Carl L. Cobb of St. Albans; Layton Cobb of Eleanor; Paul D. Cobb of Columbus; and Howard Cobb of the home. They have 19 grand children and two great grand children.
