  Notes	Jewel L. McCarty Lyons, 83, of Charleston died July 6, 2009, at CAMC Memorial Hospital after receiving injuries from a fall. She was born August 16, 1925, in Charleston and was a daughter of the late Wesley Webb and Myrtle Parsons. Her husband, Mac McCarty; her brother, Ray Webb; and sisters, Dutch Simms, Dot Carte and Mary Kelley, also preceded her in death. Jewel was a past member of the Charleston Women of the Moose and the Fraternal Order of Eagles and was a Christian by faith. She is survived by her son, Larry A. and his wife, Judy Summerfield, of Charleston; daughter, Linda Summerfield of Sissonville; and grandchildren, Randy Summerfield of Atlanta, Ga., Dawna Casto of Sissonville, and Sarah Casto and her husband, Michael Criner, of Red House. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, July 10, at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home, Charleston. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memorial Gardens, Cross Lanes.
