Oris Greely McKown died Monday, July 27, 2009 in Palm Harbor, FL, at the age of 87. He was born June 6, 1922 in Calhoun Co., WV to the parents of Kenna Jones and Adda Norman McKown. His first wife was Maysel Ivah Metheney which preceded him in death on Jan. 16, 2002. Maysel was the daughter of Whetzel Lewis and Cora A. Jarvis of Calhoun Co., WV. His second wife is Charmayne Vaught of Palm Harbor, Fl. He is to be buried in the Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, Palm Harbor, FL. No Memorial Service is planned.
He was predeceased by brothers Thurman, Donald Eldon, G. Harley, Cleddie, Isaac, sisters Hazel Mae Bowers, Hazel Pegnard., and his parents.
