      Harvey Ray Hart, 82, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away on July 12, 2008, at his home after a short illness.

      Ray was born Dec.19, 1925, to the late Fola Ray Hart and Gena Hart of Mineral Wells. He spent two years in college and served many years in the military including the U.S. Navy, Army and Air Force Reserves. He also served in the Korean War, World War II and the Vietnam War.

      Ray is survived by brother, Edsel Hart of Coolville; four sisters, Zelma Ball of Ripley, Betty Montgomery of Washington Courthouse and Dolly Mae Holland and Janet Wilson, both of Mineral Wells; seven children, Judy Hart, David Ray Hart, William Carroll Hart, Steven Ray Hart, Gena Raylene Hart, Kevin Ray Hart and Michelle Hart Potter; four step-children, Michele Krueger, Rusty East, Lester Dunn and Carmia Barrett; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many close friends.
