  Notes	Charleston Newspapers RIPLEY - Erwin "Doc" Litton, 56, of Ripley died Aug. 31, 1997, at home after a long illness. He was an Army veteran and an employee of Ravenswood Aluminum. Surviving: wife, Carolyn Sue Litton; son, Michael of Bessemer City, N.C.; daughter, Sherry Quick of Ripley; mother, Maxine Rogers of Staats Mill; sisters, Eileen Fisher of Dalton, Ohio, Sandy Fisher of Massillon, Ohio; brother, Eldon of Staats Mill; three grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Siniaville Cemetery, Staats Mill, with the Rev. Mike Norris officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley.
