Married in Ohio, across the Ohio River from Wheeling, WV, where Abraham's father, George Roush was a property owner. George was born in Frederick Co., MD, before 1770, fought in RevWar. After the war, like many veterans, was given land grants in the Ohio territory. This George was not one of the "Roush brothers" mentioned in the four-volume book on the Rausch/Roush families. This George is referred to as "George, the cousin" in the mentioned book. He, and his children migrated down the Ohio River into the Mason Co.,WV-Meigs Co.,OH area and settled. This George lived into his 90s, and it is unknown exactly where he is buried.
