Obituary: Carolyn S. Casto, 61

Carolyn S. Casto, 61, of Ripley passed away on May 18, 2010, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 1, 1948, in Charleston, a daughter of Magdalene Shamblin of Kenna and the late Romie Spencer.
Carolyn worked in the Dietary Department at Jackson General Hospital, and loved cooking and helping others.
She is survived by her mother, Magdalene Shamblin; daughter Loretta Southall of Kenna; sisters Barbara Duff of Charleston, Rosalee White and Elana Comer, both of Kenna; brothers David Spencer of Kenna and Lonnie Spencer of Clendenin; grandchildren Jonathan Procter, Ashley Taylor, Courtney Vance, Brandy Southall, and Dennie Southall; and great-grandchildren Jasmine Vance, Xavier Vance and Bruce Taylor.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by daughter Virginia Wolfe and brother Doyle Spencer.
In accordance with Carolyn's wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home will be assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
