Liddie was born March 19, 1912, and was a member of Goldtown Community Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Boggess; sons, Robert S. "Tootium" Boggess and Preston Boggess; daughter, Roena Taylor; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Left to cherish her memory are children, Stanton Boggess and his wife, Rosemary, Roy Boggess and his wife, Burna, and Nemo Boggess and his wife, Phyllis, all of Kenna, Maggie Casto of Fairplain, and Margaret Westfall and Rigenia Slater and her husband, Mike, all of Kenna; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 4, at Goldtown Community Church, with the Rev. Al Mendez officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. The family asks that donations be made to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W., Charleston, WV 25312.
