Hazel M. Wilson, a Little Hocking resident for 50 years died on April 29, 2005 at the Marietta Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born February 25, 1914, in Given, WV, Jackson County to the late Everett O. Bailey and Mollie E. Pringle Bailey Anderson.
Mom was a good homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her many cats. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a good example to those who knew her. Prior to going to the Marietta Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, she had made her home with her son, Keith E. Harrison (Peggy) of Reno for six years.
Hazel is survived by one son Keith E. Harrison (Peggy) of Reno; six grandchildren, Linda M. Theobald (Chuck) of Athens, Dorothy M. Lowe (Mike), Paula A. Warne (Gary) both of Marietta, Miriam G. Harrison of Parkersburg, WV, John R. Harrison (Karen) of League City, TX, and David A. Harrison of Marietta. Also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren, a step brother Charles Anderson (Dorcus) of Parkersburg, WV, a sister in law Eula Bailey Evans, a nephew Ralph Bailey (Ernestine) all of Titusville, FL, another nephew, Douglas Bailey (Jutta) of Palmyra, VA, brothers in law Carrol & Edward Wilson of Vienna, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Ray Harrison, her second husband, William A. "Slim" Wilson, one son, William A. "Billy" Wilson and an infant daughter, Joann Wilson, one brother, Floyd O. Bailey, 3 half brothers, Cecil & Robert Bailey and Roscoe Ruben Anderson and one step brother, Arthur "Bud" Anderson.
Services will be at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre on Tuesday at 10:00 AM with Pastor Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 on Monday and up till service time on Tuesday.
