Joe C. Bradley

Joe C. Bradley, 75, of New Haven, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Roane General Hospital.
He was born in Jackson County, W.Va., a son of the late Manford and Ida Bryan Bradley. He graduated from Gilmore High School and attended Glenville State College. He was employed at Kaiser Aluminum and Pechiney for 40 years and was a member of Local 5668 Steelworkers Union. He attended West Columbia United Methodist Church and he loved going to the Jam Sessions at Letart Community Center. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting and fishing in earlier years. He gained the most enjoyment from spending time with his grandchildren and watching their activities.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Janice Miller Bradley; a sister, Eva Jones of Elizabeth; two sons, Joe Michael Bradley, wife Elaine of Naples, Fla., Ron Bradley, wife Kolleen of Spencer, W.Va.; five granchildren, Ashlee, Eric, Nathan, Shandi, Taylor Jo, and Hunter; four great-granchildren, Jacey, Mckayla, Shayne and Austin, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
At his request his body was donated to the Human Gift Registry at Marshall University of the advancement of medical education and research. There will be a celebration of Joe's life Tuesday, March 22 at the Letart Community Center in Letart, W.Va. Friends will be received by family starting at 4 p.m. with a short memorial service beginning at 6 p.m.
