She was born January 14, 1928, a daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Nancy Ellen Ashby Parsons. Surviving: son and his wife, George William Sr. and Sharon Kay Landers; grandsons, G.W. and Josh Landers; two great-granddaughters, Joshlinn and Genisis Landers; sister, Bessie Marie Randolph; brother, Lovell Theodore Parsons. Service and burial was held Sunday, January 11, 2004, in Ortin Heights Cemetery, Nitro, with Pastor Paul Tate officiating. Gatens Funeral Home, Poca, was in charge of arrangements. The family would like to say “Thank You” to the staff of St. Francis Hospital's ICU Division.
