Harley Elizabeth Mae Thornton, 2, of Rock Branch, went to be with Jesus to run, laugh and play on March 8, 2008.
Harley loved being a mother to her baby doll, and playing with big trucks and motorcycles. She touched the heart of all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Elijah and Ruth Thornton, Lovell "Peanut" Randolph.
She is survived by her parents, Monica Randolph and Glen Thornton; sisters, Emily Whiting of Rock Branch and Jamie Thornton of Spring Hill; brother, Wayne Thornton of Rock Branch; nieces, Karah Hannoush and Alyssa Thornton; and nephews, Hunter and Joshua Thornton; mawmaw and pawpaw, Dorothy and Harold Brammer of Rock Branch; mawmaw Elaine Anderson and husband, Danny, of St. Albans; and mawmaw Mona Conkle and husband, Fred, of Arizona. Harley is also survived by other family; and a host of friends.
A tribute to the life of Harley will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Bruce Keeling and David Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memory Gardens and Crematorium, Red House.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to "Harley's Room" in care of Nitro Church of the Nazarene, 1400 Sattes Circle, Nitro, WV 25143.
