Rhodes passed away Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1993, in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of Cross Lanes and a homemaker. Surviving: husband, Arnold W. Rhodes; daughter, Doreen Moore of Charleston; sons, Keith R. Withrow of Cross Lanes, Jerry L. Withrow of Charleston, Lionel E. Withrow of South Dakota; sisters, Alma Ruth King and Annie Lee Parrish, of Cross Lanes; brother, William Howard Taylor of St. Albans; 10 grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2 pm Friday at Taylor Cemetery, Cross Lanes, with the Rev. Greg Casto officiating. There will be no visitation. Gatens Funeral Home, Poca, is in charge of the arrangements.
