Raymond Eugene Litton , 74, of Houston, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. He was born on August 28, 1937 to Ormal and Cloa Litton, both of whom precede him in death. He retired from Channelview I.S.D. after 20 plus years. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Blanchard, brother, James Ronald "Ronnie" Litton & wife, Sue, and brother, Larry Blake Litton, Sr., & wife, Cathy, and many cherished nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Raymond was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church of North Channel in Houston, where he served the Lord faithfully. Visitation for Raymond will start 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2011 with services at 12:00 Noon in the Carter Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Jene Conwell officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX. Pallbearers will include Larry Blake Litton, Jr., James Litton, Blake Litton, Lee Essman, Jase Litton and Chris Nichols. Honorary pallbearers include Bill Whitney, Dougald McFadden, and Durwood Radican, Michael Blanchard & Scott Blanchard. All arrangements were handled under the trusted care of Carter Funeral Home.
