      Wanda Gail Morton Randolph, 65, of Midway died peacefully Monday, June 6, 2005, after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her children.

      Wanda was born in Charleston, a daughter of the late Norvil U. Morton and the late Edith Whittington Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Donald Riley Randolph; two sisters, Dorothy Morrisette of California and Barbara Kang of Teays Valley.

      She is a graduate of Nitro High School and a former co-owner of Jackson County Home Center, Ravenswood. She worked for many years as an independent interior designer. Wanda was a member of Nitro Church of Christ, where she generously volunteered her time putting clothing baskets together for newborns at local area hospitals.

      She is survived by sons and their wives, Mark E. and Julie of Hurricane, Barry L. and Tammy of Beavercreek, Ohio, Brent R. and Teresa, also of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Roger Call and Mary Beth of Naples, Fla.; daughters and their husbands, Terri Gordon and Gene of Naples, Fla., Lorie Karbley and David of Taylorsville, N.C.; stepmother, Virgie Morton of Poca; brothers and their wives, Norvil ?Doc? Morton and Suzanne of Hurricane, Jess Morton and Roberta of Ravenswood, and Bill Morton and Joan of Midway; one sister and her husband, Glenna Tucker and Michael of Millwood; grandsons, Casey Randolph, Brandon Miller, Ryan Karbley, Brandon Gordon, Bradley Gordon, Joshua Randolph, Eric Randolph, Drew Miller, Cole Gordon, Bryson Karbley, and Ostin Karbley; granddaughters, Tiffany Bargman, Megan Karbley, Amber Randolph, Hannah Randolph, and Katie Randolph; great-grandchild, Jacob Bargman; special friends, Helen and Gary Arthur of Bancroft; and a host of nieces and nephews.

      Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Poca.

      Funeral service will be Friday, June 10, at 11 a.m. at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home with Minister Craig Culberston officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
