Withrow, 85, of Nassawadox, Va., passed away Friday, July 7, 2006, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Nassawadox, Va. He was born July 11, 1920, in Tams, W.Va., a son of the late Ira C. Withrow and Clara Blanche (Pauley) Withrow. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Lucille Withrow, and one son, Glen H. Withrow. He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church, Marionville, Va., was a U.S. Navy and served in World War II, and was retired from the USCG in 1967. He is survived by his son, Wayne C. Withrow of Spring Hill, Fla.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Graveside service will be held at Franktown Cemetery, Franktown, Va., at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, with the Rev. Dr. Bill Nieporte officiating. B.D. Holland Funeral Service, Nassawadox, Va., is in charge of the arrangements.
