He was a self-employed construction worker. He is survived by his sons, Arl Pauley III and wife, Carolyn, of Charleston, Wayne Pauley of Manchester, Ky., Bryan Pauley of Raleigh, N.C.; daughter, Lisa Wagner and husband, Steve, of Norfolk, Va.; grandchildren, Brad Pauley, Kimberly Adams-Fontenot and husband, Jason, Natasha Adams, and Tyler Humphrey-Pauley; and great-grandchildren, Autumn and John Adams; former wife, Doris Jean Pauley; ten nephews; and 12 nieces.
