WALTON - Christopher Paul Raines, 43, of Walton died Feb. 17, 2004, in St. Francis Hospital, Charleston.
He was born Dec. 10, 1960, in Walton, a son of Orel R. ?Pete? Raines of Walton and the late Joyce Hughes Raines.
He was a foreman for Triad Resources.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Lisa Jones Raines; two daughters, Christina D. DiFilippo of Winfield, Erin Nicole Raines of Charleston; three sons, Travis Paul Raines of Charleston, Jeremy Phillips and Kyle Catalano, both of Walton; grandson, Tanner Paul Raines of Charleston; stepgrandsons, Devon and Dominic DiFilippo of Winfield; maternal grandmother, Thelma Conley Hughes of Hemet, Calif. and Spencer; three sisters, Jeanette Atkinson of Reedy, Linda Torre of Charleston, Sheila Ashley of Scott Depot; and three brothers, Philip Raines of Walton, Jim Raines of Spencer, David E. Raines of St. Albans.
Service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at Walton Union Church with the Rev. Jerry Board officiating. Burial will be in Ferrell Cemetery on Vicars Ridge.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer.
